Marla Leigh Goldstein is an award-winning frame drummer, percussionist, flautist, composer, and educator. One of the few female artists in the global frame drum scene, she is known for her dynamic blend of precision, spirit, and soulful artistry.
Marla holds a BFA and MFA from California Institute of the Arts and is the founder of Frame Drum Academy, a thriving international school. She has also collaborated with Cooperman Company to create her own signature line of drums.
In addition to her online Frame Drum Academy, Marla offers workshops and retreats at beautiful locations around the world.
As a composer, her music has been featured in films, yoga media, and commissioned by institutions such as the University of Kentucky. Her debut album, Rhythms of Tof Miriam, was recorded in Israel, and her second album, Rhythms of Illumination, is set for release in Winter 2025.
